Who is Watts AGrow Services
Watts AGrow Services was born out of over 30 years of hands-on experience in the agricultural sector. Founded by Debbie Watts, the company reflects a career dedicated to supporting the evolving needs of modern agriculture with insight, flexibility, and deep-rooted industry know-how.
Debbie’s professional journey spans both North America and Europe, with a diverse background in grain marketing, logistics, seed and chemical product management, seed breeding operations, fertilizer procurement (commodity, premium), and value-added product marketing — including biologicals, traits and low carbon fertilizer. She’s also experienced in ag tech and understands the realities of small business ownership.
In recent years, her focus has been on Innovation and Market Development, working closely with industry stakeholders to help navigate and shape agriculture’s next chapter.
Raised on a farm in rural Canada, Debbie brings not only technical expertise but also a genuine passion for the land & the people who work it. Watts AGrow Services is built on that foundation — practical, insightful & driven by the future of farming.
About the logo
A few words about the logo:
The acronym for Watts AGrow Services is WAGS, so I converted that into a wagging dachshund logo because of the inspiration behind my dog Joy, who "wags" her tail all day, every day and even while sleeping.
Dachshunds are known for their lively and courageous nature, being intelligent and obedient. They can be stubborn (but in business terms, let’s think of this as persistent 😊), however are faithful, versatile, brave, clever & good-tempered.
These elements combined with my inspiration to "positively advance agriculture" came together in the logo you see today.
